Carwash Pick-up Service
The Carwash Pick-up Service, an innovative initiative by the prominent Dutch carwash brand Loogman, is designed to provide a convenient pick-up service for carwashes. Targeting lease cars from large companies, this service acts as an additional benefit offered by these companies to their employees. Through the app, employees can schedule a pick-up, after which a driver will collect their car, take it to a Loogman carwash, and return it thoroughly cleaned.

Design the digital interface of a car wash pick-up
The Carwash Pick-up Service, an innovative initiative by the prominent Dutch carwash brand Loogman, is designed to provide a convenient pick-up service for carwashes. Multiple applications for different users
Admin Dashboard
The admin dashboard for Loogman enables comprehensive management of the pick-up service business. It includes tools for overseeing carwashes, affiliated companies, drivers, and all pick-ups. Additionally, it integrates with financial and HR systems for streamlined operations.
Driver App
A mobile app for drivers who pick up cars from employees. These drivers, employed by Loogman, use the app as an essential tool throughout their workday to manage pick-ups. The app allows drivers to provide real-time updates, notifying employees about the status of their car pick-up.
Employee App
A mobile app for employees of affiliated large companies. Employees are invited by their company manager and can schedule pick-ups through the app. The app is used for booking services, receiving notifications, and tracking the status of their car pick-up.
Company Manager Dashboard
Dashboard for Company Managers: Each affiliated company receives access to its own dashboard, allowing managers to invite employees, assign pick-up tokens, and gain insights into the pick-up activities.
Problem and solution
Giving your car to a stranger
The primary concern among employees regarding the pick-up service is the lack of trust in handing over their car to someone else. Additionally, we encountered challenges with the availability of car washes and potential issues that could arise if a driver is unavailable.
Keep owners up to date to gain trust
To enhance trust in the pick-up service, we have incorporated several features into the Driver and Employee apps. Before each pick-up, the car is thoroughly inspected for damages and photographed. Upon delivery, both the driver and the employee inspect the car again for any new damages. If any new damages are noted, Loogman takes responsibility. Both the employee and the driver must sign off on this process.
Additionally, employees receive real-time updates on the status of their car and its destination carwash. After the service, employees can rate drivers and provide feedback to Loogman on their performance.
Design system
The design system is based on Loogman’s branding and features a blue color scheme. The primary goal was to create a clean, user-friendly interface suitable for both mobile and web applications.

Main features
The Driver App is used by Loogmans drivers to manage all planned pick-ups. They can start a pick-up and sent updates to the owner of the car about their pick-up. Pre-defined steps have to be entered into the app to continue during a pick-up, such as, pictures of the car (and damages if present), signature when picking up and handing over the car and informing the owner when the driver will arrive.
Employee App
A mobile app for employees of companies that provide the Loogman Carwash Pick-up Service. Employees can be invited by their manager and spent the assigned pick-ups themselves. The employee uses the app to schedule a pick-up, to receive status updates and to manage their personal data.
Main features
The app’s main feature is scheduling for a pick-up. This is done by selecting an available time slot. A pick-up location and car details are shared during this process. The employee will receive updates via the app, sent by the driver who is doing the pick-up. These statuses include estimated arriving times, where the car is en any shared photo’s or signatures.
Company Manager Dashboard
Every company that joins the Loogman Carwash Pick-up Service will receive its own manager dashboard. This dashboard is used to view and gain insights in pick-ups, cars and employees.
Main features
The main features are adding and managing employees and their cars, gaining insight in planned and completed pick-ups, and to manage the companies information and financial contract with Loogman.
